Meet the Team
Senior Pastor
Anson D. Wallace
Bro. Anson Wallace has served as minister at Eastside Church of Christ in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, since April 2010. Before joining Eastside, he spent more than eight years as co-youth director at Swope Parkway Church of Christ in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was baptized at the age of 12 at Roswell Church of Christ and has remained dedicated to serving the Lord ever since. Bro. Wallace and his wife, Tracy, have been married for 27 years and are blessed with five children — Zavien, Brycen, Camille, Tamicia, and Jerzy.
After a 39-year career with UPS, retiring as an operations manager in 2018, he now devotes his time fully to ministry. Bro. Wallace is passionate about preaching the Gospel, sharing God’s love, and guiding others toward salvation with humility, faith, and joy.
Assistant Pastor
Maurice Schofield
Maurice Schofield is a passionate and dedicated Assistant Minister at the East Side Church of Christ in Lee’s Summit, MO. He is also a Master Life Coach and the author of five inspiring books. With a heart for service and a gift for encouragement, he combines spiritual guidance, personal development, and holistic nutrition to help others experience transformation from the inside out.
For more than 11 years, he has worked faithfully with youth and families, dedicating his life to uplifting, educating, and empowering those he serves. Through preaching, life coaching, and mentoring, Maurice leads others toward deeper faith, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose.
